Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers Recap

This will go down as one of, if not the biggest, disappointments in Dallas Cowboys history. Dallas is the first team ever to lose to a 7th seed in the playoffs. They are the first 2nd seed to lose in the first round. It all gets worse and worse when Green Bay is 3-0 in Dallas in the playoffs. The game got out of hand quickly, as they went down 14-nothing. Dak threw two interceptions in the first half, both leading to 14 unanswered points for Green Bay. The game was 48-16 with 6 minutes left in the game. With garbage time hitting early for Dallas, the final was 48-32. There are lots of questions about what will happen with Quarterback Dak Prescott, who hasn't proven anything in the post-season. Coach Mike McCarthy most likely played his last game in Dallas. Since he's been on the team, they haven't made it out of the divisional round of the playoffs. The big-time players didn't show up during the big-time game. Dallas will have a lot of questions in the off-season as they will potentially look for a new head coach and maybe a new franchise quarterback for the future.

I tip my cap to Packers quarterback Jordan Love and coach Matt Lafleur for creating a perfect game plan to not only win but to dominate. Jordan Love finished the game 16-21 with 272 yards, 3 touchdowns, and a QBR of 99.3. Matt Lafleur completely exploited one of the best defenses in the league. Making a team with no pro bowlers look like one of the best teams in the NFL. Aaron Jones also had a monster game, having 18 rushes for 118 and 3 touchdowns. Greenbay didn't skip a beat and ended the game before the second half. The Packers will have a big matchup next week against the number-one-seeded San Francisco 49ers and look to perform another historic upset.
