Detroit Lions vs. LA Rams

The MOTOR winning the NFC North for the first time in over 30 years has been a triumph for this franchise. Playing against their old franchise quarterback, Matt Stafford has created one of the most exciting storylines and games of the wildcard matchups. The game should ultimately come down to coaching. With both teams matched fairly well, Detroit has a much more explosive offense than LA. Detroit will be without their star rookie tight end, Sam Laporta, who injured his knee in the final game of the season, which could change the dynamics of this offense.

The Rams have had one of the best turnarounds in the NFL this year, starting at 3-6 and finishing the season at 10-7. The Rams have the potential rookie of the year, Puka Nacua, who just broke the all-time receiving yards and receptions record for a rookie. The emotions may be high for Matt Stafford returning to Detroit, and he may ultimately break the hearts of many Detroit fans this weekend. The Lions and Rams play on January 14th.
