Buffalo Bills vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Recap

The Bills had an impressive win against the Steelers. They started hot by scoring two touchdowns in their first three possessions of the game. Managed to go up 21-0 at halftime with a 52-yard rushing touchdown by Josh Allen. Josh Allen had a great game, throwing 21/30, 203 passing yards, and 4 total touchdowns. The Bills did take a few big blows to their team, suffering major injuries on their defense. Key injuries include linebacker Terrel Bernard and defensive backs Christian Benford, Taron Johnson, and Rasul Douglas. The Bills will need all the help they can get as they face off next week against the Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills will play in Buffalo for the first time in the playoffs against the Chiefs, which could be a boost to the team.

The Steelers have another disappointing wildcard exit. Mike Tomlin managed to squeak this team into the playoffs, but without their top player, T.J. Watt, their backs were against the wall from the start. Poor tackling from the Steelers' defense created problems early. With Mason Rudolph leading this offense, it was nearly impossible for them to make a comeback. The Steelers needed lots of luck in this matchup, and it ultimately ran out. The Steelers will need to give Kenny Pickett one more prove-it year to see if they will need to find another franchise quarterback for the future. The defense will still be dominant, and coach Mike Tomlin's last year of his contract will be interesting to watch.
